Dear Ken, Another option that you might want to check is the Internet Exchange Messaging Server (http://www.ima.com). It is a full blown messaging solution that runs under Linux. Full anti-spam, anti-virus, distribution list, disclaimer insertion, gateway modules for cc:Mail and Lotus Notes and more are included. Authentication is done via LDAP, and the server utilizes a single UID for operation.
If I can answer any questions or otherwise be of assistance, please let me know. Best Regards, Tim Kehres International Messaging Associates http://www.ima.com P.S.: We are moving our data center to a larger location starting tomorrow, but due to a problem in scheduling, we will be severly bandwidth limited until next Monday (delay in moving some of the circuits). This is likely to have an affect on downloads - if you need to get a copy, you might try right away, or after Monday. Sorry for the inconvenience... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ken Sorensen" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "RedHat" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, December 19, 2002 12:10 AM Subject: IMAP/POP3 Servers that are available > Greetings, > Does anyone have any experience with a IMAP/POP3 server that does > not use /etc/passwd as the base?
