I think it is a bug in up2date, it automagically tries to start X-windows apps to do the registration and pgp key adding stuff.
I think that you can do these from the command line manually, and then up2date --nox will work. Do: /usr/bin/gpg --import /usr/share/rhn/RPM-GPG-KEY Then do: rhn_register --nox Then do the up2date --nox -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
