hello, i have the following two rpm's installed: kernel-2.4.18-17.8.0 kernel-source-2.4.18-17.8.0
i'm compiling the TI Graphic Link USB driver and it requires a .config file in /usr/src/linux (which i have as a sym link to /usr/src/linux-2.4.18-17.8.0). so to make the .config file appear, i do a make xconfig. but i need to know which config file to load from /usr/src/linux-2.4.18-17.8.0/configs. hmm, maybe can i just use one of those configs directly? i.e. make a sym link /usr/src/linux-2.4.18-17.8.0/.config to one of those in /usr/src/linux-2.4.18-17.8.0/configs? anyways, which config was used to compile the kernel i'm using? my computer is an athlon xp 1800 system. thanks for the help, christopher -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
