Again, you have not added an MX record for your domain name "thedomain.com". You have an MX record for the domain "nsserver.thedomain.com." Which, for an MX record is treated as a sub-domain, which you have not defined. Plus the nslookup output does not match the zone definition your showing. Question: 1) Are you sure the zone file you have listed is loading? 2) Do you see any errors when bind starts?
