I have about the same problem. It does not only happen with with .wav, but also with other sound files like .mp3, .ogg. For example, when clicking on a longer mp3 file (eg. a song), it will start out fine but then after a few second it will keep repeating some part of the song. I am not sure what to blame or how to fix it. So any comments are welcome.
