I don't know what mailer you're using. But what I do is run two signature-generating programs (gensig and sigmaker, and I also have some others for future expansion). Since I use sylpheed, I can set up multiple accounts that are identical with minor exceptions. One exception is the signature. If I reply to an email, it's easy. I filter to a folder based on From, then set the properties of the folder I filter into so it always uses the account with a particular signature. it gets a tiny bit trickier when i originate mail. But since I can see the signature, I know which account I'm using if I pay attention. Also, if I have the folder opened for a particular account, it will automatically use the properties I set for that folder, meaning it will use the account nd signature I have set there. That all sounds involved. But it really isn't. I've been doing it that way for over 2 years and only once did I send an email to the wrong place with the wrong signature by mistake (to this list or the psyche list, I don't recall). Other mailers may allow the same thing. You might be able to make several accounts with the same info and use a different signature for each. With sylpheed, there's a radio button that lets me change accounts on the fly. Others might require you to choose a particular account before you begin writing. -- Closet extrovert. -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
