findsmb my.ip.add.ress finds the machine without any
problem.  

If I issue:  'smbclient -U Administrator myMachine'

It lists the following shares:

ADMIN$
ACE
IPC$
CDRom
C$
D$
E$
CDrive
DDrive

I'm not sure what any of this means, beyond the fact
that it can indeed see the machine - but I guess I
already knew that.  Thanks for taking the time to
