Thanks!

The problem is I can't run passwd. How would I run passwd in level 1 (I
think that would be the result of typing "linux 1" at the LILO prompt)
be any different from running passwd from a command prompt in level 5?

I have installed every update that Red Hat has issued for my 7.3 server
within 24hrs of getting a notice.

Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
steve
