I am working on a dell latitude c840 that had windows xp and red hat Linux 8.0 installed on it. I formatted the Linux partitions and installed Linux 7.2. I made a mistake and did not configure grub at installation, but fixed the problem by editing the grub.conf file. I can now boot to the windows xp partition, but windows XP locks up during boot. Any ideas on how to fix it? John
