At a root prompt:

chkconfig xinetd on

service xinetd start

I'd advise runlevel 3 since RL 5 can be sig. more resource intensive. While
having a pretty screen saver is "cool", it's not practical on a server since
it substantially increases the load. Reminds me of the Windows admins who
love running OpenGL screen savers on their NT/2k boxen because it looks
pretty - yet they can't figure out why their CPU usage is near 100% all the
time :-)
