Thanks for the response.

I've done this on many occasions. I've changed screen savers, reset times,
password protected them and nothing works. When you test it...it works fine.
I actually heard back from someone and said it is a known bug.

Just like in Windows - right click on the empty desktop, select 
Configure Desktop, select Screensaver on the left panel , select the 
desired screensaver from the list ( you can test it right away - just 
push test button and press enter when you'r satisfied ), configure what 
you wish, apply and ok .

P.S. - It surely has blank screen enabled witch is the most effective 
screensaver !
