I installed it into the boot partition. Will this be o.k? I can't even
boot into windows at the moment, so when I re-install, I will have to
boot from the CD, and bypass lilo. When windows is re-installed, will
it just boot straight into windows, or will lilo come up again. Also,
will lilo interfere with the windows install at all?
Bloody Windows!!

As I said before, if you installed Lilo in a /boot partition, you wont have any problems
reinstaling windows.Just boot from cd or floppy and select the type of instalation you
need .
What I don't remenber is if it will change the active partition - for lilo to start, the active
partition is the one where it is installed ( /boot ) .If the active partition becomes the windows
partition ( usually C:\ ) only windows will start .In this case you would have to use a software
like Partition Magic to make /boot the active partition ( unless someone else has a better idea ).
Lilo doesn't "interfere" with windows it just boots the partiton(s) it is instructed to boot ,
nothing else.
