When compiling my custom kernel's, by the look of it, it seems to be using the -march=athlon and -O2 flags by default. I think its got the -march=athlon flag from when i selected processor type in the configuration process.
My question is:- Is it possible to override these values and instead use say "-march=athlon-xp" and "-O3" I've looked trough the Makefile but I couldn't see an obvious way of doing it from there, so if it is possible to do, how would i go about doing it ?
