I don't know this for sure but i *think* i had a problem like this when i was trying to rebuild the old NVIDIA src.rpm's (compiled for gcc-2-x) on my redhat 8.0 machine (gcc-3-x) check the NVIDIA site for the latest version of the packages, if you already have the latest ones, then i don't know what it could be.
