You can edit /etc/aliases. Down at the bottom is an entry that used to be commented out: # Person who should get root's mail root: user@domain replace user@domain with the correct address don't forget to run newaliases after you make the change. We use sendmail I don't know if qmail or some other MTA is different but I assume not.
