Hello All, I am trying to install the Sun One Studio ver 4u1 (formerly Forte For Java) on my RH8 system.
The install fails. When I go to find "runide" all that is in that directory is an "install.log" file saying: ServiceException( Code=315 ) blah blah blah Others are also having this problem and searching for a solution. Sun has an install FAQ entry titled "having trouble installing on RH8", but their solution does not work. Anybody have any luck with this? Any ideas?
