Stop using the RedHat stock firewall - it is more trouble than it's
worth. Go download Shorewall: http://shorewall.sf.net

READ the docs - use the 'stock' config setup that suits you, and if you
have read the docs, and still can't figure it out, write the list. It
is a nice package, and my first setup [3 internal computers, 1 firewall,
no DMZ] came in a readily canned package which I downloaded from the
site. It took about 1/2 hour to setup.

[And it eliminated all tweaking with Redhat config files which go
ballistic if you change them.]

VB programmers ask why no one takes them seriously,
it's somewhat akin to a McDonalds manager asking employees
why they don't take their 'career' seriously.
