Yes and no. As I see it, upon login the PAM console module gives the ownership of devices to a single user and alsos set the permissions, but doesn't change the group ownership. However, you can can specify owner, group and permissions for a device when the user logs out again. So, nothing would stop you from activating group access for the sound devices by creating a group "ausers" (= audio users), adding your two users to that group and giving the group proper permissions in console.perms: <console> 0660 <sound> 0660 root.ausers - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE91pqf0iMVcrivHFQRAsgiAJ9ANwjUIrooowxDYuU/I3TBYjVZuQCeJUFx iHvtgT9D02RS9EGrKzDN+qo= =RJLw -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
