I am using the Compaq 1700T laptop, where the ACPI support is important. After searching on the Internet for a while, I just realize that the ACPI support is not compile in to kernel. And the "acpid" that I download from SourceForge is not working neither (obviously).
I wonder is there any way to add ACPI support by myself? Or will the RH add it to next upgrade? And is possible to monitor the battery by APM?
