I am using a dhcp broadband router which assigns IPs and this works with
all versions of windows, RH 7.3 but not with RH 8.0

If the card is recognised, is there possibly ANOTHER problem bringing up
eth0?
 
Is it for example looking for a DHCP server when you're using static IPs or
something?
