Actually, there is a kernel module for reading HFS filesystems.  Check
out the kernel source directory:

/usr/src/linux/fs/hfs

for further details.  If you have a current Red Hat kernel you should be
able to 'modprobe hfs' or just use 'mount -t hfs /dev/[DEVICE]
/mountpoint' and the kernel should load the correct module and you
should be able to read the CD.
