Procmail needs sendmail, "badly" :)

It will, however, forward mail, but it will just tell sendmail to send it
wherever you wanted it set.

I love procmail. I've never used it for anti-virus but I've heard of that
being done. I've used it against spam for some time now. Some people swear
by SpamAssassin, which comes with RH now.

Searching www.freshmeat.net for "virus" and "mail" shows dozens of
projects, change the search to sort by Rating to get a good idea of
popularity.

Dunno, I have my procmail do this for spam, most of the virus stuff I'd
get working, then delete it. Virus infections are quite binary, it's
infected with Klez or it's not.
