In general, it is a problem on any email list. Not everyone uses a client that displays "rich" text. My prefered email client, mutt, is a terminal based client which displays the ASCII character set only.I am new to the list and normally use rich text to allow some formatting of my email. Is this a problem for people on the list like HTML is?
If you must, and can stand the ridicule of others (and understand some of the most knowledgeable memebers of the mailing list will IGNORE your posts because of the "rich" text), then please have your client set up to use the prober MIME types and include a non-rich version of your post.
