Yes u can , if have compiled ur kernel with Y to bsd table support, then
use dmesg .
it will give somthing like this (if ur bsd slice is /dev/hda2)
hda: hda1 hda2 hda3 hda4 < hda5 hda6 hda7 >
hda2: <bsd: hda8 hda9 >
Here hda8->/dev/ad0s2a and hda9->/dev/ad0s2b
Otherwise , just try hdaN where N > last number for hda (in this case 7)
