I tried LILO and GRUB with no luck.
Same results......just blank screen.
Thing is, I thought I complied with everything.
/boot was on hda1 and WELL below sector 1024.
Must have been something about which IDE device was which.
I originally had,
(hda) Primary Master - 20 gig hard drive
Primary Slave - none
Secondary Master - CD Drive
(hdd) Secondary Slave - 60 gig hard drive
I just moved the 60 gig drive to primary slave. (then hdb)
For some reason (which I have no clue) it worked.
