With tcpdump output, it is a little hard to say, since it works at a lower level. iptables could be blocking this traffic, and you wouldn't be able from this alone. Looking at 'iptables -L -n' might be informative, or looking at your logs. The fact your system seems to be communicating with a number of other systems certainly raises some red flags :/ What are you using for firewall rules now?
