are there any gcc2 rpms around? i now have a machine with gcc version 2.96 and would like to upgrade to gcc version 3.2
problems: *) i would like to have gcc2 as secondary compiler. should be possible and would be great if redhat could provide that (rh did this the other way round on 72 i think). any comments from redhat onto that. *) i have a lot of libs compiled with gcc2. if i upgrade onto gcc3 these would break (i would not be able to link against gcc3-binaries). is there a way around this? even if that means to recompile a lot of packages. *) howto identify all libs? is *-devel sufficient? yours josef -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:redhat-list-request@;redhat.com?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
