If a BIOS upgrade is not available to allow that, then C'est La Vie.

It is not uncommon. This is what I did at the time (I run my own computer
business now).

1> Went down to my local computer store.
2> Asked the manager if they had any broken keyboards/mice I could have
(missing keys, sticky ball - whatever)
3> They gave me them for free.
4> Plugged em in, and tucked them behind the box on the floor.
