Hi All,

I'm using

bash-2.05$ gcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat
linux/2.96/specs
gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-98)

bash-2.05$ rpm -qa | egrep -i 'glibc|libstdc'
glibc-2.2.4-19.3
compat-libstdc++-6.2-2.9.0.16
glibc-profile-2.2.4-13
libstdc++3-devel-3.0.1-3
glibc-devel-2.2.4-13
libstdc++-2.96-98
libstdc++3-3.0.1-3
libstdc++-devel-2.96-98
glibc-common-2.2.4-19.3
compat-glibc-6.2-2.1.3.2

Can anyone confirm if in this version libc/libstdc was
compiled with the -g flag?

regards
-ravi
