RedHat gave me that warning too, however I had no problems.

I THINK it's related to LILO. Fact is, LILO couldn't read /boot partitions
past a certain area of the disk (or something to that effect).

Even though I got that warning, I'm using GRUB, and have no problems.

Try using grub.

Why install LILO anyway? I'm not sure with which version GRUB came out, but
I know for a fact that 7.2, 7.3 and 8 have grub as the default........
