Large file support depends on many factors.  ext2 and ext3 both have
large file support.  There are end user application issues.  glibc has
been fixed, but there may be other apps that can't handle it.  WinNT
file systems (aka NTFS) isn't even officially supported by Red Hat, so
reading any files is a bonus.  

I haven't read anything about large file support in NTFS.  It may be
that other file systems support it, but NTFS doesn't.
