If you install both kde and gnome you can run all of kde's programs under gnome I don't know if 8.0 has a switchdesk command but earlier versions allowed you to switch back and forth to see which you perfered. I use xfce so I can't look it up. Linda On Mon, 28 Oct 2002, Mr. Elusive wrote:
