Promise IDE raid installation?

I have a machine that has a Promise IDE RAID PCI card. When I boot up and can get into the raid configuration utility and set the raid configuration. When I boot from the CD and try to install Redhat it gets to the beginning and after I press enter to install the software it just stops. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance for you input.         Donnie
