Hi, I recently insalled RedHat8.0 on a new IBM Thinkpad T30. The machine has integrated 802.11B wireless.
During installation no wireless network devices were detected. However, if I open up the Hardware Browser I find the following under "System devices": Prism 2.5 Wavelan chipset Manufacturer: Harris Semiconductor Driver: orinoco_pci However, when I try to create a new wireless device using the Network tools I am unable to set the device up - most likely for the same reason that the device appears as a "system device" and not a network device. Has anyone been able to make this work? Any suggestions for what I should try?
