pico is easy, ctrl + x will quit without saving changes,you need to type ctrl + o to write out, then ctrl + x to exit. With vi you type i to enter insert mode, when done hit the escape key, then : enter, then w enter, then q to quit...hope this helps...

but I cant seem to enter the info anywhere
