pico is easy, ctrl + x will quit without saving changes,you need to type ctrl + o to write out, then ctrl + x to exit. With vi you type i to enter insert mode, when done hit the escape key, then : enter, then w enter, then q to quit...hope this helps...

Im trying to run a cron job for the first time (newbe)
I log in as root and enter crontab -e
I get a screen like this

~/temp/crontab.24249
but I cant seem to enter the info anywhere
if anyone can help please respond thanks
