Hi all, I just tried to install psyche on my brand new HP Pavilion ze4145 and the installation crashes while initializing PC Card Devices (there are no PCMCIA or CardBus cards in there, so it's got to be something with the CardBus/PCMCIA controller). I'll follow up the make and model of the controller; I don't have that information right now.
The words on the screen are: Bank 3: b40000000000083b at 00000001fc0003b0 Kernel Panic: Unable to continue The notebook seizes at this point and requires a hard reset (it's got a reset button on the bottom of the case). Possibly relevant hardware information: mobile Athlon XP1800+, 512MB PC2100 DDR RAM, 40GB IBM HD, DVD-ROM/CD-RW. Any ideas? I'll be trying a copy of 7.3 tonight to see if there's any difference.
