I've found a gcc-compat and installed it. It has created a gcc296. I expected my build to work now, but I still get the same error.
How I used it: make CC=gcc296 bzImage make CC=gcc296 modules Is there more I need to do to 'truly' be using the 2.96 version of gcc?
