Hi all,

having acquired a Toshiba Libretto laptop which - among other things - I
intend to use as MP3/Ogg player, I'm now looking into converting my
favourite CDs into MP3/Ogg, preferably with as little work possible... I've
been searching around and came across a program called "grip" (basically a
frontend for some commandline tools, if I understand correctly), which looks
promising, but I'm curious as to what experiences other people have. Which
program(s) do ye use to convert a whole Audio CD in one go to MP3/Ogg?

And: Which program to use to convert LPs? I suppose one has to cut the
tracks manually, but with what?

Any hints welcome.

Cheerio,

Thomas (for whom MP3/Ogg is an area to feel newbie again... ;-) )
