Tom, you're a legend!!!

in the /etc/printcap file I added the :mc=10:\ and it worked straight away.
I noticed the banner said to add it to printcap.local, as the printcap gets
autogenerated. After the lpd restart I didn't notice any change to the
printcap, but I added the change to printcap.local just to be safe anyway.

Thank you very much.

Very strange default though. Majority of people would need more than one
copy of a print-out at some stage.
