I noticed the same thin myself when upgrading from 7.3 to (null). All you need to do to change things around is to restore the font settings, or reset them, then save the settings. I'm not sure whether this is a problem with the later ncurses or not, but it is a minor textual thing that can (usually) be fixed:)
