Hopefully someone on here has had experience setting this up. Looking through the archives and didn't see anything specific to this, unless I was off on my search topic. I am looking to setup TC on my network. I want to set it up on a machine that will eventually act at the head of the network as two other services, but TC to start. The network would look as follows; T1 > Router > machine with TC > switch > /20 network. Now is it possible to setup either routed or gated so that the machine running TC with two interfaces can act as totally pass through? It would be a nightmare to have to change every gateway on every machine. Also I would like to stay away from using ProxyARP as well if that's at all possible. If someone can recommend other how-tos and docs besides the routed, gated and TC docs that would be great. Also if there are any other services someone sees I should be running to do this or help me do this cleaner please let me know.
