Asunto: no mysql connections after up2date

Hi all
I've just run up2date and installed the glibc packages fix vulnerabilities
in resolver that have come to light.

Now I can't conect to mysql

I tried to rebuild mysql using rpm --rebuild but it won't work... it said
gcc is not working.

What should I do?
