Hi, I hope that someone out there has found a answer to this one, it has
been bugging me for ages!

I would very much like to be able to restore from the rescue mode on the CD,
preferably using dump. I am aware that I can create a statically linked
version of dump and place this on a floppy, but the biggest problem for me
is the SCSI tape support (or lack of it).

I could, in theory, compile the module for the st.o if I had the kernel
config file that is used to create the rescue / install kernel - but I have
yet been able to locate this file!

Does anyone have a work around to this? I have tried various different
rescue packages (mondo, tomsrtbt) with limited or hit and miss success
(this is needed for Compaq servers) and would like to use the RH CD if
possible.

Any pointers would be a great help.

Kind regards,

Jon Paterson
