If I've got a box with more than one ethernet card, what is the "correct" way to force the system to assign numbers to them in a desired pattern?
Example, box with two NICs and one built-in interface. When it boots, the two NICs are 0 & 1 respectivly and the built in one is 2. I'd like to force it to always start with the internal one as 0. While I am interested in the "how to", I'm also curious about the "best practice" method. Thanks for everyone's time. -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
