Hi everyone. I try to install the snd sound editor packages, and I'am very close to make it. But one rpm will not install and that is the snd-motif rpm which complain about missing dependencies or failed dependencies.I dont have an english redhat version, so its difficult to translate the message.Anyway it cant find libasound.so.2 which is included in the alsa package I have, and the lib reside in /usr/lib. I have also copied it to /lib and /usr/local/lib, but still I get the same failed dep. Is there a way to tell the rpm installer where it should look for the libasound.so.2 file. I have also run ldconfig without no luck.
