you must have an partition on your harddisk to install
linux. I'am not quite sure I understand you right if
you already have installed linux or what. If you want
to create an partition you must have the boot rescue
diskette and the linux system binaries on your windows
partition, and boot the system with the boot diskette.
Ie. in redhat you will be asked if you want to format
the linux partition and install linux.If you have
already installed linux together with the win systems,
I recommend you to use XOSL. Its a dos program that
set up booting from several systems.
