I'm trying to set up an ncd X-term to download its configuration from a RedHat 7.3
server but have failed to get it working. When powered on the ncd X-Term is able to
see the RH server alright, and acquires its IP address from one of the configuration
files but that is as far as it goes. It then repeatedly comes up with the message :
"Port mapper not responding"
As far as I can tell, the portmap and all the other necessary network services, nfs
and tftp on the RH server are all running. I would be very grateful if anyone could
help me sort this one out.
