Why doesnt linux load the /etc/sysconfig/iptables file? I have a shell script I run with the iptables rules, and they are saved in /etc/sysconfig/iptables file. But when I restart iptables it dont load the file. The permissions for the file is --rw--r--r The permissions was before I changed it --rw-- --- I have checked that the rules are not loaded with /sbin/iptables -L It worked a few days ago. Is it the cron demon that change the settings.
