This sounds freaky, but Im not sure if it is a hack or a problem with the PHP
subsystem, but a few of my php files in my web root have lines missing out of them.
I have been working with the php.ini file lately, messing with memory settings and
so forth, and sence then, I have recieved error in my web pages stating that there
have been undefined errors or undefined symbols and so forth at line XXXX. When I
check that line and compare it to the original (source) there is a line or
characters missing from that line. Now, the php apps associated with the missing
lines is in no relation to the app that I was working with at the time it happend...
Example

Im working with PHProjekt (a groupware app) and then I go to my ACID web site and
get the error. Or, I'll go to another php app and get the error. This had been
bugging me, so I did a rootkit check, checked my SNORT logs and nothing. Or at least
I cant find anything. One of the web apps wasnt even called up in a browser. I
recieved an e-mail stating that a cron job had failed and the reason was missing
lines from a Perl script. Weird Hu?

Any ideas?

Thanks A Million

Joe
