I've been getting errors: "dcop communication error (KDE system guard)" there was an error setting up inter-process communications for KDE. The message returned by the system was:
could not open network socket Please make sure that the dcopserver is running also an error when trying to run Klauncher "Sorry - KDE Panel" Klauncher could not be reached via DCOP" All this started when I tried to load vnc server to connect to the upstairs computer and vice versa. Can someone tell me a way to re-start it without restarting KDE, I'm currently downloading off FTP and IRC so I don't want to shutdown my PC... But if I do can you tell me if everything's gonna be alright afterwards or if there are any troubleshooting I have to do afterwards, for when I'm done downloading.
